Kindergarten

M-F, 8:30am-2:30pm
In 2021, we opened a Kindergarten-only class for 5-6 year-olds new to Parkside or Montessori education. It is a bridge program that combines Montessori elements from
the 3rd-year Primary curriculum
with more traditional educational approaches in order to prepare the children for 1st grade, ideally in our Lower Elementary program. The class is part of our Primary program and participates in the same celebrations and special events as the other Primary classes. We have been very pleased with the success of this unique program and are happy to be able to introduce more families to the benefits of Montessori education and the special community we have at Parkside.
