• Upon completing the waiting list application (download HERE), one for each child, and paying the $75 non-refundable fee, your child becomes active on the wait list. Your child will remain on the list until they are either: a) accepted into the school, b) you ask us to remove them, c) we are not able to contact you via mail or phone after several attempts, or d) you are offered a Fall spot and decline it (this does not apply to spots offered mid-year).

• We will contact you via mail regarding upcoming school events you may be invited to attend.
In January we invite all waiting list parents to our annual Introductions which take place in January & February. This is an opportunity for you to meet our teachers and get informed about the specific class your child may be ready for. You will receive an overview of the curriculum and other general information. Time is allotted for questions and answers.

• Criteria for selecting and accepting children from our waiting list for a spot in the classroom usually happens in this order:
1) Current families/siblings who may be ready to enroll are given priority. Our goal is to keep families together.
2) Date the child was put on the waiting list is strictly observed.
3) Cultural diversity is an important part of our classroom balance in the decision-making process.
4) Age and gender of child. Each classroom must have a balance of various ages and genders.

• During the enrollment process each Spring, if a spot becomes available and we feel your child is a possible candidate, we will call and invite you and your child to come for a preliminary interview with the classroom guide.
Our goal is to have our enrollment process completed by mid-April to early May. We realize how important it is to find a good school for your child, and we appreciate your patience with our waiting list process.
